I am delighted to be taking part in the Celebration of Craftsmanship Exhibition this year.
Back in 2003, as I was setting up my business, I visited this exhibition and was blown away by the quality and style of much of the work on show. It was at this point that I was sure I wanted to be a furniture maker + maybe one day exhibit at an exhibition like this.
So - after 15 years, I eventually plucked uptake courage to apply to be part of this exhibition and was accepted! This marks a really important point for me, as back in the beginning someone said to me - "how will you know when you have become a successful furniture maker" [one of those 'what does success look like' questions] and I answered "when I can exhibit at Celebration of Craftsmanship"
This is something of a 'bucket list' moment!
The exhibition is in Cheltenham and will be open 18th-27th August 2018
