The Brief

The centre of family life revolves around the dining table. Children learn to paint on it, romantic meals are taken on it, and friends and family grown old round it. Benches are a great way in which to make the table very versitile, whilst complimenting the simplicity of the table

The Design

A simple design, provides solidity and honesty. The handle can have many uses, to move it when you are cleaning, to stop a child falling off or just a place to lean. The materials and inlay compliment the 'scribble' design in the table top. Traditional wedged joints celebrate the construction and honour the quality of the workmanship.
