 The Brief
An Art Deco-inspired cabinet for a very special stereo! This piece was to show off the main components of the stereo and hold a selection of vinyl and CDs.
The Design
Art deco styling and construction technqiues of laminating and veneering help to give a traditional 1930's feel. Cable management is an important consideration, as is the solidity of the piece. The whole cabinet is mounted on spikes.
Materials Black walnut with polished stainless steel inlay on the doors. The veneer is bookmatched throughout. |
